ISO 50001

The standard ISO 50001 describes an Energy Management System (EMS) as a tool aimed at reducing costs and CO2 emissions and improving the energy consumption efficiency.

The companies in the field of application, those which employ more than 250 people and whose annual volume of business exceeds 50 M€ or whose general annual balance exceeds 43 M€, should submit themselves to an energy audit before December 2015, and, as a minimum, to one every four years as from the date of the last. Those companies which have an energy management system certified by an independent organism are exempt. (ISO 50001).

SUEZ Advanced Solutions has a multidisciplinary technical team, with a proven track record in consultancy on the implementation of an EMS which conforms to the ISO 50001 requirements, including managing help and subsidies.
